Sync Facebook photos with Apple's Address Book

Back in days - OK, 2007 - there was a po 'of OS X spiffy Facebook app called Sync that pulled down your friends' contact info and added to the Address Book on your Mac This was particularly brilliant, if you are used iChat, screen names because it would be imported so you can chat with most of your friends before there was a Facebook Facebook Chat. Facebook Sync but it proved to be too good to be true when Facebook decided that their terms of service violation. Address Book Sync partially fills the void, allowing you to add your bulk-FB contacts to Address Book - less contact information.


What is good if you can not synchronize screennames and email addresses? Well, you can still synchronize photos and birthdays, and at least you have a Facebook phone book entry for each contact. Also, if you have the photos you have in your Address Book to one of your friends, you can uncheck a box to have Address Book Sync leave alone. If your phone can sync contacts with Address Book, this is also a quick way to get pictures of people displayed when calling. Address Book Sync works brilliantly and does not violate the terms of service. Now if I could understand only one way to add contact information for all these new entries ...
